Pro Wrestling Guerilla Mystery Vortex 7 Results (August 1, 2020)



Ladies and gentlemen of FN Wrestling for the first time since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic Pro Wrestling Guerilla has returned. August 1st saw the promotion return to action with Mystery Vortex 7, the latest in PWG's series of shows where all matches and competitors are unannounced prior to the show.


All Elite Wrestling stars Orange Cassidy and Evil Uno were in action, as were Ring Of Honor World Title holder Bandido and Ring Of Honor Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham, among other stars in the world of independent wrestling.


Without further ado, let's jump into the action.


In the opening match Tony Deppen defeated Jack Cartwheel.


ROH stalwart Brody King defeated recent AEW regular JD Drake


In what was reported as a blistering match Demonic Flamita defeated Arez


ROH Pure ChampionJonathan Gresham defeated Lee Moriarty


Tag team action saw Aramis and Rey Horus defeated Trey Miguel and Myron Reed


In a battle between AEW fan favorites Orange Cassidy defeated Evil Uno


The main event was for the PWG World Championship saw Bandido defeat Black Taurus to retain the title he won from Jeff Cobb in 2019.


But the action didn't end after the 3 count as Black Taurus was joined by Flamita leading to a vicious attack on ROH and PWG Champion Bandido. After seeing enough Super Dragon and Tommy End (AEW's Malakai Black) rushed to the ring in order to save Bandido from the two assailants. To close a successful returning show for PWG, End grabbed a mic to announce he would return to PWG on September 26, with Super Dragon vowing to go where End goes.
