WWE NXT might be NXT 2.0 now, but some elements of the old brand remain. Great American Bash is among those elements & on Tuesday night, the Superstars declared #WeAreNXT & revisited what used to be a WCW PPV, via a pretty great show. Lots of gold on the line & the night kicked off with a pretty major title change.

Toxic Attraction defended their Tag Team Titles against the Size of the Fight In the Dog (Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez) to open the show... & the latter picked up a rather surprising win. The challengers gelled well, despite not really knowing each for very long, ending the reign of Shine On, you Wrestling Diamonds (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne). The Former Rok C will have the opportunity to add to her championship lineage, when she takes on Mandy Rose for the NXT Women's Title next week.
Yes, I enjoy naming tag teams. so sue me...!

A title change to open the show, but not 1 to end it. In fact, Toxic Attraction were the only Superstars to lose their titles on Tuesday. Cameron Grimes failed to win the WWEpsilepsy Brand's grandest prize, in the main event, losing to Bron Breakker. The champion's next challenger emerged right after the match too. JD McDonagh. If you're struggling to place who that is exactly, it's the new name NXT UK's Jordan Devlin has been given, ahead of his NXT re-debut. Why... intelligent folks just can't answer that question.

Match of the night @ Great American Bash goes to Grayson Waller & Carmelo Hayes. The duo competed for the NXT North American Title & further cemented that it might well be the best division in the brand right now. A terrific match that ended with Trick Williams distracting the challenger, just enough for the champion to knock him down & pick up the win. Hopefully not the final time we see these 2 squaring off.

There was also 1 more title match on the show... that may have been the final nail in Diamond Mine's coffin. The Creeds successfully defended the NXT Tag Team Titles against challengers Fall in Line, Or Step Across It (Roderick Strong & Damon Kemp)
